Turbo Coolant Lines?

Can anyone help with info about running coolant lines to my turbo? I am not sure where to take the feed from and return to. I am currently thinking of bypassing the heater pipework through the turbo but I am not sure if there is a neater solution and I don't know which heater pipe is feed / return. I guess using the return from the heater would be better as it would be cooler?

ive tee'd off one of the heater pipes (it doesn't matter which really) for the flow which goes in the lower port. then the return from the turbo( the upper port) should rise with out dips in the hose back to your expansion tank so when the engine is switch off the cooler water can be drawn up and cool the turbo.
