Hi people
First time noob poster but long time lurker.

We are looking for a 2010-2011 E90 M3 at the moment. We have our 2014 330d m sport to px so have been looking
through the BMW AUC lists. We only really want to purchase an AUC as we feel the warranty is well worth the extra cash that main dealers add on.

So we have found these two cars and wondered if anyone has any info on them.

March 2011 metallic space grey 24,000 miles Reg number PE11 YDC, up for £29,450. This one the wife loves the colour and it has the Black leather but the spec seems low compared to the white one below.

The other is September 2010 Solid Alpine white 32,000 miles Reg number GJ60 WUL up for £30,000. White isnt our first choice and the red leather isnt our first choice either but looks to be a high specc'd car.

Ive tried to link to the BMW AUC site but couldnt (doh!)

Also any other info regarding these cars would be great eg,which has the best resale value in the future and which is the best spec etc.

Sorry for the noob questions but we arnt that clued up on M3 specs and prices.

The M3 saloon is quite over priced against the coupe simply because there were so few saloons imported.

Hi Max.
Trouble is is that we have a 2yr old and its so much easier with a saloon. Its a shame as we could get a much newer coupe for 30k and with much more choice of cars too.

GJ60 WUL has been for sale a few times in the past two years. Not sure if it is a lemon or not but this is third time I have seen it up for sale since March 2014.

I had made enquiries about this car prior to agreeing a deal on the one I eventually bought. Interestingly I think it was with the Derby dealer (Knights?) at the time but it ended up in Norfolk as well, I saw it a few times over about a 6 month period.

Yes, this. I know someone who had the coupe, which he loved. It was having to slowly slide the drivers motorised seat forward in the pissing rain so he could put his toddler in the back that meant it had to go in the end.

You're not far off a newer M5 with that budget, which may easier with a little one? I found the boot on the E90 a little small with a pram etc, especially when going on holiday.

Hi
I think the M5 will be just a bit too big for what we need. We have been ok with our current F30 330d even though sometimes it has had a normal pram in , a off road pram in , two shotguns and associated accessories all at the same time!. It was a tight squeeze but we managed.
