This may take a while to find as it does take a bit of trawling back through your history, but what was your first thread on PH?

Mine was this - http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

ok, it didn't get any responses, but it took me 4 years and 6 months to start my first thread!

Not very interesting but certainly quite a long time ago when life was different!

The first thread I started was asking people how they pronounce 'Countach'. I had been doing it incorrectly(apparentlyrolleyes)

I recall a 50 page thread on the Civic Type-R .. maybe not my first .. but that should have been a warning to avoid PH!
In any case, I find the Tube discussions more interesting than Cars these days.

Squealing brakes.
Uninspiring as ever - little has changed.

Thanks for burning about 3 hours reading old threads haha...

Mine would appear to be
http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

Where I introduced my car history (all my pictures have since vanished with Uncle Dave)

ETA I need to bring it up to date, I still have the SV6, the SV10000S has gone as has the CBR600RR (not shown) and replaced with a new 015 Fireblade

Who has better drivers? SA or UK? in the South African sub-forum.

Apparently the simplest question to answer.

Great thread!

Here is mine:

http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

Summary - should I get a TVR Chimaera or Griffith? Inevitable Chestwig vs Golf player comments. Only took me another 8 years to actually buy one.

My second post was all about how my brand new 2006 Lotus Elise 111R Sports racer kept breaking down.

So basically about as clichéd as you could possibly hope for.

September 2010,I am returning from the Moto GP round at Misano,Italy in the Cosworth,a couple of hours till Calais.

A bunch of British TVRs pass me.

I joined up just to ask where they'd been.

Can't remember title and I posted it in the wrong place, probably GG,got moved to TVR spotted.

A "Mrs Thatcher" gave the answer, been on a wine tasting tour of French vineyards.

ETA....scrolled back through 5+ years of "My topics" and still can't find it....deleted ?

Yep.

How did you find it and I couldn't ?

Or has it been lurking in your bookmarks for 5 years ?

It was Mrs T not Thatcher....LOL.

ETA...have bookmarked it myself for personal nostalgia reasons.

Thanks for finding it.

What is the correct pronunciation? I asked a few weeks back, but had no reply.

My first thread was about The Lecht Road. "nothing to see here", it tells me.
That took bloody ages.
My second thread can be viewed here
I was rightly called to my senses by upstanding citizens.
hehe
