Some people really try it on, Christ. Surprised with that dodgy birds nest wiring under the bonnet that the thing hasn't caught fire yet. Hopefully it will.

£1500 and that's being generous. 20 years ago you might have got scrap if you were lucky. Some mug will pay loads for it though.

I think the original York diesel would make it less desirable. At least you can start a Toyota diesel when it's cold!A lot of people park the original engine under the bench and use a substitute so that when the move it on the next guy will pay top money and then he will park it under his bench too.
