Plug leads.

Got me some silicone ignition leads to fit but, as they are fatter than the standard / original leads, they will not fit into the clips that hold all the leads together.
Are there 'special' ones or do I really need these?

you can get different clips quite cheaply from the MotorFactors for the new Leads (thicker normally = better ) You really do need them if you've got any "spare" in the leads as on exteme cornering or whatever, you really don't want the lead touching the manifolds..

Previously I've used 8mm Magnecor leads from ACT, and these came without clips. They're too fat for the original clips, but my local motorfactor couldn't supply any clips because 'nobody bothers with them these days because the leads are always hidden out of sight under the engine cover'. I managed to route the leads well clear of the exhaust, alternator etc and haven't had any problems with them. Recently I changed to the more expensive 8.5mm leads (again from ACT) and these came with a full set of clips, labels etc.
