Quite remarkable how it has gone all this time without being registered.
The other thing, is how basic it looks inside yet this is the deluxe version. Just shows how comprehensive the level of equipment is in today's humble cars.

[quote=Mercky]It doesn't look quite right under the bonnet for a car that's only done 58 miles. Apart from the price that may be one of the reasons it hasn't sold -it's been on the market for some time now.[/
Doesn't look right on the dashboard either; a couple of the zeros on the mileometer are out of alignment.

Unless my eyes deceive me the driver's door has been repainted as it's a slightly lighter shade.
Whilst it's obviously not been used much looking at the interior, the condition of the engine bay contradicts this somewhat.
I think the price is optimistic due to the above although it's a remarkable find.

Might be asking a daft question but, if it was registered today would it be a 65 plate or a 1964 plate.
Don't think you could register this as new, there would be warranty issues, We had a 1965 Land Rover LWB that we never registered as it was used on trade plates as a recovery vehicle for nearly 25 years. When we wanted to sell it, we had to register it and used the original documentation which was still current at the time. Land Rover were all over us and it had to go on a Q plate in the end.Gassing Station | Classic Cars and Yesterday's Heroes | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
