Quick, smooth, impressive. The Swedes use them as taxis.

Judging from the giant central touch screen wouldn't be surprised you can pre-order burger and chips too.

Just because it is quick...........

Can a supercar have five doors and seven seats ?

And the ultimate test: would you want a poster of this particular milk float on your wall to aspire to when grown-up ?

Not sure wall posters exist any more. Tesla is a surprisingly impressive car to drive but a super car has also to be relatively rare ,borderline impractical, look exotic, and not be a more powerful version of a larger production sibling.

No. Super car not a supercar. Not until they bring out something completely impractical with not enough seats, no storage, awkward to get in and out of, expensive to service, out of place in Tesco car park and well beyond the means of most average people. Speed, performance and tech is irrelevant. This may go against Mr Musk's philosophy but who knows. I really like the brand and would consider one as a dd in a few years. I'd also place my bets on the ludicrous mode in a drag against pretty much anything, at least until about 70mph. It's interesting seeing what they're doing. I expect my boys will be driving hybrid £12k hot hatches that do 0-60 in 2.5 with a range of 100+ miles by the time they have licenses, unless their mother has anything to do with it - or the insurance company.

Not a supercar.

R35 GTR has some incredible figures. NOT a supercar. Tesla has incredible figures, but it's electric only.

Some fat women are models. Some are now saying that some of these women are ''supermodels'' too. But they're not. I don't think my analogy works.

Also here in Norway, but the interiors are held together with duct tape in many cases.

The 'S' is a quite nice looking, well-equipped and comfortable family barge. It is silent but it goes very fast. It's kind to the planet, apparently. Nothing wrong with that, but it doesn't add up to a super car.
