I found a direct email address for ecain on an old thread. I have tryed that and hop it works.

I've only ever heard and seen great things of both their work.

Indeed.

Just had my wife's ring valued locally for twice what I paid for him to design/make it and the service was excellent.

To be fair, i've heard nothing negative either. There's always two sides to a story and if he has the same experience as me on PH he'll suffer a lot of time wasters (not suggesting the person commenting is a such a customer). I love doing work for PHers as 90% of the time the work is interesting, something special and the customer a pleasure to deal with, but at the same time we also have a life outside of work and if we don't email back at 1am or over weekends it's because we are doing things with the family or are just NOT at work. I invest a lot of my spare time in order to keep e-mailers happy and often i have to spend money i won't get back in order to reply with genuine responses. If the email trail is dragging on and costing me money i can see no return on i'll steer away. We run businesses at the end of the day, not shopping assistant / price comparison services.
