Apologies, but I couldn't resist a few more shots of the Gallardo:

I'm really annoyed with myself about this one. If only I'd checked the shot on the display screen I'd have seen that the car needed to go 1m forwards (to get it in the centre of the trees) and tilted the camera down a little to get the full reflection. Ho-hum

Snapping a bright yellow Lambo in deepest Somerset is not exactly conspicuous :

Truely wonderful pictures, inspiring, creative and extremely professional looking.
Those fat borders top and bottom realy work well with the wide angles.
Ian.
Edit>>
I loved the carpark ones especially in the other batch.
The lighting is soo moody and with such a dynamic car there is almost a sense of danger!

Great stuff again mate! Only slight thing is that 1 and 6 of the gallardo look a bit wonky to me. Easily done in a rush though init!

They really are bloody amazing, do you use a digital SLR for that or a 35mm SLR? No point going into detail with me, i'm really just a point and shoot type of person, but i'd love to get into it when i have a bit more (read: any!) disposable income!

Cheers,
Rob.

you don't need a full SLR to take good pictures - ultimately it's the subject and the photographer that makes the picture now some "magic" camera. A dSLR simply gives better colour representation and sharpness from the outset.

IMO there is little point going and buying a dSLR or indeed a SLR when you have little idea on what "works", much better to get a decent compact/smaller camera and use it to learn and then upgrade when you can afford to. Thats what I do with my Canon A70, but for global acceptance and people's praise like this I have some way to go in the learning stakes.

As for the actual pictures, great as usual, but I can't help feeling the Lambo helps

The front-on portrait B&W-ish picture of the Gallardo, what did you do to get that effect?

I think I like the first 2, what a car!

I must admit I have nicked your boarder idea too
It seems to set some pictures off really well.

Just wish my talent was a tenth of yours, great work!

A combination of aqua duo-tone, increased contrast and added noise, 17% gaussian.
