Hi Folks,

Will be getting new 981 Boxster Spyder early May. Will need to finance the car. Have a quote from a broker who was recommended - balloon purchase over three years - APR 6.3%, flat rate 3.16%. I'am sure there is more in the deal as I haven't pressed them yet on rate. Too early to ask Porsche to quote - but guess it will be circa 6.5/7% APR.

Any recommendations?

Porsche are at 6.8% APR absolute best and you need to push them on it. This was on a GT4. You can get 4.4-5.8% APR from independents if you know the right people. Porsche don't like it though but they can't do much about it as they would prefer to keep the finance in house.

I'am hoping someone on here will point me in that direction smile Have heard customers going to Porsche with better finance deals & Porsche coming back with a better deal and/or £1-2K off the OTR price to secure the finance business.

My OPC have sent me a PCP quote of 7.6APR for my GT4 that's arriving in March. I too would be very interested in the best way of financing with a lower APR!

They're having a laugh!!! The only good thing about Porsche Finance is they give you a high balloon payment which keeps monthlies low but in reality by doing that you are paying more interest than capital than you would do if you had a lower balloon over the term of the agreement.
