I like the look of it in that colour as well. I would want to see it running for that price. If it's a non runner you can cut that price in half. He looks like a trader of the unwanted and unloved judging the other "items" he has in his basket of delights...

That engine needs proof of decent rebuild. But at that she unused for 3 years you may need to sort paint, engine, interior, electrics, chassis....10k seems pricey

As they say you pays your money and take your choice

It could be OK and only needs a few quid spent on it but it could be a money pit, specially with speed 6 engine and standing around for a few years

You'd think the dealer would put a new battery on so it could be seen running. At least then any potential buyer would have an idea of what they are getting in to.

Agreed it needs to be a decent amount cheaper than what it's advertised at. Even if it had £3k off it i'd be interested.

Yep.. As much as I like strong Cerb prices, factor in potential engine rebuild and possible chassis work makes that expensive.

No use in 6 years also says trouble! At half that I would be interested.. Too much risk otherwise.

(All based not seeing/knowing the actual car)

What's the 'convertible' bit the ad states?

Check out the sellers feedback too, even the Positive rated ones have negative comments.

That's a feature they all have if you don't catch the slide quick enough.

Any link for the car you are asking about?

Searched eBay and nothing obvious coming up with what you are looking at...

At that price for the car I would run a mile. Most I'd offer is £6k its gonna need engine rebuild, prob new oil tank, brakes would have siezed up? Bilstiens leaked etc etc? Standing for 3 years hmmm! Nice colour tho, headlight looked rusty on inner IMO.

I think it's worth £8k, £6k is a bit harsh you meany rofl

We're looking at it from our armchairs, in the flesh it mightn't be that bad (but I doubt it).

Agreed but only 8k if I was selling lol. Always hard to tell with any TVR from pics alone but history tells me from 1st hand wxperience of my dads Cerb that had been sitting. (20k miles in 11 years) that lots was needed to get it back on the road even though I did go more than the extra mile wink.

Shame. Maybe another one taking its route to the scrappers due to negligant ownership.

I've seen some like that, people asking good money for a car that would end up costing near 25k after works paid.

I remember one in particular, it had no carpets, moss on the inside, leather was sopping wet and the guy and drilled holes in the foot well to drain the water out. And the chassis was rusted to hell, but he was adiment the he would get 13k. Madness!

I Still can't see it on eBay - the earlier link gets me a Volvo! Is it still on the bay?
