Porsche dominating Quali at Daytona - with bonus in-car vid
Discussion
Porsche seem to have dominated qualifying at Daytona. Pole in all the classes where it has a car.
The 997 has Pole in GS class ahead of the Cayman GT4 and GT350R-C, The Cayman has pole in the ST class ahead of the Mini and the Audi S3.
The GT3R has pole in the GTD class for the 24hr race, as does the RSR.
It was wet and wet again though..
As a bonus, here is onboard from Leh Keen's pole lap for the GTD class. That guy can drive.........

And how far off the wall was his tail happy car ??
That was very brave
I wonder where he qualified ?
It's not that scary when you are driving. You are driving on feel and trying to get as much power down as you can. As soon as you break into oversteer you bank the rotational limit of adhesion in your brain, catch the oversteer and bleed off a little if you need to. For drivers at his level it is not difficult. The difficult bit is having the spare capacity for the strategising that is taking place in his brain at the same time. That was very brave

Interesting info, and makes perfect sense I guess if you're driving at this level as you say.Gassing Station | Porsche General | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
