waiting lists for a Boxster or a Cayman

I've had a quick look and cannot find the info I'm looking for.

can anyone tell me what roughly is the waiting the list for a new Boxster or Cayman ??

718 Boxsters, if ordered now, are scheduled for June/July delivery I believe.

I don't think you can order a Cayman at the moment, unless there's a dealer out there with a current build slot in late March/April awaiting a spec freeze. I have one of the last Cayman GTSs on order, scheduled for a mid-March build, and my spec has just frozen.

I've got a Cayman GTS on order, spec lock mid March for delivery end April so it's worth phoning around all dealers to see what they can offer depending what you are after. Don't think you'll get a Boxster factory order now though and 718 June/July

I had a word with my local OPC and was quoted May for a new boxster and April for a Cayman.

having now spent a few hours at the showroom I've decided I prefer the look of the Cayman - esp as I already have a convertible .

is it worth waiting for the new model ?

The Boxster will have the new 4-cylinder turbo engine, if that makes any difference to you. The Cayman will be the current 6-cylinder NA version, and one of the last. Updated 4-cylinder turbo versions will be out later this year.

What spec Cayman are you after? Base, S or GTS?
