Opened up the garage door today after 5 weeks away.
Refitted the parcel shelf first, it had been retrimmed, I was postponing the inevitable.
Went to the bike, ignition on, choke on, hit the magic button and it turned over for a half minute then...... fired up, no worries thought I. It's carburettor so needs a bit of turning over to get filled up.....
With new found confidence I checked the oil and water in the cerb. I hit the fob to turn off the alarm. The battery said 11.75V. Bollox to it, push the magic button once and the pump whirrs into life. I pressed it again and held on, turned once and that familiar sound roared into life. Fantastic, battery light off, oil light off, oil pressure up to 55 psi. Checked that battery and it's charging at 13.75V.
Wahey, don't you just love it!!!!
This week I will be mostly out on the bike as she is off next week in anticipation of a new one but the three weeks after that will be exclusivly cerb!!!
