Isofix on 997 gen 1

Do gen 1 cars have isofix on the front or rear seats?

If not, can it be retro fitted and what's the ballpark cost?

Apologies if this has been asked before, but I couldn't find a definitive answer.

Not sure about the shoe hormone, but you need a 991 to get isofix.

I'm hoping to put an isofix base on the passenger seat and then leave it in place.

It will soon be my job to drop little one (9 months) off at nursery on my way to work and i don't need the passenger seat for anything else (we have practical car for family outings at the weekend)

Your options are restricted to forward facing and you'll need to sort airbag deactivation too. Some babies of that age are too light to face forward.

There is a retrofit kit from Porsche, which has child seat isofix with key switch,harness and warning light,which is fitted into centre console, the console has to be removed and a hole cut into it for the lamp.

If front passenger seat doesn't get used them your easiest option is in the back. I had my daughter in rear facing until she was 15 months until she outgrew the seat however I'm dubious that airbags stay off during a crash in the front. This was in a 996 so you should have a bit more space in a 997.
