718 & All Porsches
Discussion
Any figures for the 718 S 0-100mph?
How do you guys find the stated figures from Porsche (0-62 etc) Are they accurate, understated or overstated?
20 second boost button (SCP) how long do you have to wait to use it again?
Anyone know what ECU it's using? I'm assuming it will be new due to the 4 pot?
Not sure how much further you can push a 4 pot over 350bhp lol,
Are Porsche figures based on Flywheel Stats or Rear Wheel BHP?
Some odd questions and probably silly ones based on how new it is but you never know
Cheers in advance!

Porsche performance statistics are notoriously conservative! How do you guys find the stated figures from Porsche (0-62 etc) Are they accurate, understated or overstated?

Agreed very different cars! I'm still unsure,
If there's reliable performance on the table and extra drivability, why not
Well, you will have no warranty and you will be increasing the power on an engine with unproven reliability or strength. If there's reliable performance on the table and extra drivability, why not

Who knows if the engine will take it?
Why not just spend the money on a faster car?

There are plenty of examples of Japanese 2.0l 4 pots with 4-600 hp!My friend had a 200SX (S13) 1.8l with 619hp at one point in 2003/4, I'd say it all depends on how much they've thrown at the engine components and reliability testing.
But, I wouldn't mess with a brand new car...
If you want something different, why not got down the RUF route?
