Dry January - How was it for you?
Discussion
Today is the 1st Feb and I personally am looking forward to a drink tonight after work.
I did however manage it and am feeling quite pleased with myself, how did everyone else fair?
I also gave up chocolate for a month and I think it has done me some good, I would definitely say I've lost some weight, however it's too easy to fall back in to bad habits so I'm going to make a real effort to resist the temptation.

Covered quite a lot here: http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...
However after the initial week being tough, I found it easy, I have come out of it with more energy, better skin, half a stone lighter (was hoping to lose a bit more TBH) and more money.
I intend on carrying on through Feb too.

What dry January.
I don't drink enough to feel like I have to dry out for a month. Generally no booze at all Monday to Friday and at the weekend it's usually only a couple of pints on Saturday so I never feel guilty on the odd occasion I fancy a beer on a Wednesday.
Similar here except the only night I tend to have a beer is Monday at the motorclub meeting (as long as it isnt my turn to drive obviously)I don't drink enough to feel like I have to dry out for a month. If I do go out for a beer on any other night well it doesnt matter because I am well under the suggested limits anyway

I tend not to drink so the same as last July, August, September, October, November and December......
Ditto. Is this really a challenge?Actually January was veritably alcoholic for me, I had a couple of cognacs whilst skiing which is more booze than I've had in the last two years combined.
