just need to vent really.
2 suppliers today, one blaming google for something their software is doing since they upgraded it, it's taken me all morning to convince someone there that they caused the problem with the data they fed into our google apps domain.
2nd one, the new printers that have been delivered are not doing as they should with secure printing and they don't understand google cloud print, really in this day and age? (cloud printing was specified you lying bastids, loving old emails
)
i feel like i have spent the morning smashing my head into a wall as opposed to what i have done which is email and phone people to admit they need to look at a problem they caused.

You sound like someone that needs to take a chill pill.
If everything was perfect, most jobs wouldn't need to exist.
Instead of feeling like you have been smashing your head against the wall, try feeling like you have resolved some problems, it might help.
And.... back in your box!If everything was perfect, most jobs wouldn't need to exist.

So you went live with new systems without testing them fully and its suppliers fault
nope testing was done 'allegedly' by the team that ok'd the upgrades / changes.
problems have only arisen since the suppliers made changes, printer suppliers have admitted they messed up the spec
