Heated seats retro fit?

just after a bit of advice. My wife has decided after 2.5 years of ownership that she really needs heated seats in her Boxster due to being a shift worker, and starting work at ungodly times of day and night throughout the winter.

Other than the seats, her current car is the exact spec that she always wanted (colour, engine, wheels etc.) so she was wondering if it would be possible to have the heated seats retro fitted. Has anyone on here ever had, or heard of, this being done, and if so is it a sensible idea?

if you can bear having non genuine parts then theres lots of kits out there under £100 , could possibly make them work off the genuine switches so it looks spot on

get the carbon mat ones , theyre the best
