LUK Clutch kit help
Discussion
That is fine, the splined centre is floating within the top and bottom plate which are held by together by the rivets. The springs prevent it from rattling about. When you lift your clutch pedal the centre part is attached to the gearbox whilst the outer friction material is trapped against the flywheel the springs will get compressed to cushion the load on the gearbox.
