Cerb dead, but Mannings ace!
Discussion
After slipping on a greasy country road, spinning the Cerb and hitting a railway bridge my 4.2 got written off (category A, with chassis rammed into block). I knocked myself out and went to A&E, but thanks to the roll cage I escaped with only cuts and bruises and a bit of concussion.
Anyway, this happened at the end of January and Mannings and Alianz Cornhill have been brilliant - at the end of the day you only know how good an insurance company really is when it counts. Didn't even have to haggle over price - they offered a fair amount first time.
Just thought you'd want to know - other firms may be cheaper (not by much), but this firm dealt with me faultlessly.
And in case anyone is wondering, apart from the passenger seat, the pedals and maybe the diff, there's very little worth saving... insurance assessor said it was the first Cat A he'd seen in a while that hadn't been burnt out...
Take car on those greasy roads, chaps!

Amazing you survived! What speed were you doing?
Exactly! Glad the insurance paid out, sorry the rest of us will be paying for it. Single car accidents in the winter seem to be all the rage and some fatalities too - it's not very clever really is it.
CWC, Not sure I understand your post? Are you judging without fully understanding the situation? Anybody can have a crash.....as I know.
Regards,
Rob
