Anyone changed their Clutch Master Cylinder????
Discussion
I did my master last week and changed the whole unit rather than just the seals, to be on the safe side.
To get the botton bolt off try poking an allen key in between the casting and the bolt. The right angle of the allen key is ideal. You will need someone to hold it in postion while you use a ratchet in the footwell

Thanks for the replies. I just thought I would ask in case I had missed something obvious.

haha yup thankx ash
I've not replaced a master cylinder since i was at teh dealers 4 years ago .. no need .. the bore is rarely scored, and at about 12 quid for a seal kit versus 50 plus quid for athe master cyl plus all the hassle it's just not worth it .. seal kit every time for me.
