doomed, we're all doomed. Anyone with a TVR is doomed. This isn't a rumour from Porsche, BMW, Audi, or any other number of owners of other cars, but, sadly ourselves. We love to slag off our marque. Get a life everyone! We all drive TVR's cus they're 'ARD. Different from the rest, and bloody fast, with a soundtrack equaled by few. RV8, AJP V8, and S6, all have their probs' but that's what comes in high performance territory, and before the next comment on reliability, believe it or not, it happens to the pre-mentioned too, honest. But hey, I'll get flamed for this and you know what? Couldn't give a,. Went to a regional meet today and everyone upbeat about their car. On here is a different tale. Think I'll spend more time meeting the genuine in the flesh.

I'm normally quite upbeat at the meet's, however I couldn't make this Sunday's as my clutch gave up the ghost on Thursday, after I had a brand new f***er fitted on Monday.
Next time your at a meet, please consider the people who couldn't make it

Was good to see you both yesterday, days like that are what owning cars like ours is all about, the run from my place in sunny Nunny was brilliant (too fast I admit) ...but 5 cars clear sky and a clear road....
TVR's will atract criticism, those of us with half a brian (sic) know the shortfalls of owning such cars, but live for the experience of driving them, and love the often positive response from Joe public.

Saw your wedge looked mint an excellant looking car. After dropping my mate Glenn back in Coventry came accross two other wedges in convoy: Wayne in his red 390SE and another red 350i heading towards Nuneaton, ecellant sounds effects guys!
Good to hook up with lots of like minded folk, one of the larger turn outs for West Mids I reckon?

Saw your wedge looked mint an excellant looking car. After dropping my mate Glenn back in Coventry came accross two other wedges in convoy: Wayne in his red 390SE and another red 350i heading towards Nuneaton, ecellant sounds effects guys!
Good to hook up with lots of like minded folk, one of the larger turn outs for West Mids I reckon?

It's true - TVR is going bust. 
They've been going bust since the late 1940's and will probably be going bust for many years to come.
Look at Norton.
It has gone bust more times than anyone can remember, but Norton last built a decent bike in the 1970s.

There is no other TVR replacement... its always the 'brash we can make cars faster than the rest' attitude that has a big demand... I mean not everyone can afford 100k+... so TVR fill the gap which otherwise would mean all of us tiv owners driving around in maxx'd up honda civics man - yeah, I just got an extra 40bhp by putting this whistle thing in my exhaust - wicked! init!
