Went to get the bike from the garage, front tyre flat. Picked up a small stone near the valve.
Tube replaced, can't get the mini pump to fit (wanted to test it). Turns out it's broken so used track pump & dug out years old Lezyne plastic mini pump & another tube & off I go.
31.5mls later, rear tyre is flat
Same type of stone in nearly identical location to the front - what are the chances, especially as I've not had a flat in 6-8mths & 100's of miles?!
Dig mini pump out & it's broken too ffs! Yes, I know I should have checked.
So, recommendations for a decent mini pump please & some 40mm< inner tubes for 23/25C.
Wondering if its worth changing the Vittoria Zaffiro tyres it came with at the same time?

Just hope it & the tubes/repair kit arrive before the weekend now, after Sundays experience I won't be going anywhere without.
Have left the tyres for now, can do without spending £60+ if I can help it!
Pressure drive is a great pump. One word of warning though - be careful when using tubes with removeable cores. Because the pump is a screw on fitting it has a habit of unscrewing the cores on tubes. I've now taken to tightening up the core on a tube when I take it out of the box. Needle nose pliers do the trick or you can buy a little 'key'
Do think about CO2 as well. If you're picking up punctures they make things so much easier.
Also if you're finding the same type of stones puncturing you, it may have been that you picked them all up at once. Go over the tyres with a magnifying glass and make sure to look in any holes for little sharp bits.

Delivery arrived today so weather permitting I'll be back out again by the weekend
Pump was even smaller than I expected so happy days.
