wet carpets = fuel pump problem

I currently have a mildly moist carpet, to be resolved later this week.

Yesterday was the first truly sunny day for a while and I left the car in the rays to warm up. Wouldn't start on return [for the first time] and the cabin had become a bit humid...

Spoke to Paul at Austech [thanks Paul] and he, if I recall correctly, said the relays to the fuel pump can be affected by moisture.

Left to dry out on the windscreen for 30 mins and rah, rah; broom!

Watch out for secondary moisture problems, dry those carpets out!

If you don't have a passenger then leave the kick cover off. It can get a bit hot and sweaty in there if your carpet is wet and leaving the cover off helps keep the moisture level down
