Purchased a new 2015 V8 Vantage GT.
Discussion
Purchased a 2015 GT 6 speed manual. I've had it close to a month now and really love the car.
But I was wondering, shouldn't I be receiving questionnaires asking me to rate my dealer experience etc, as well as the vehicle? I have purchased Fords, Chevrolets, Jaguars and always get mailings welcoming you, thanking you. And customer service polls to fill out. But so far one month into my new purchase, I have heard nothing, but silence. Both from corporate or the dealer.
I've had a few questions to my dealer, but he acts as if I'm bothering him, he's always right in the middle of a sale etc., and can't talk. But he never gets back to me.
I don't pester him, and am extremely polite. And it's not like he had to work for the sake, they had the car I wanted. I paid the price they asked. Cash deal, there was no financing they had to mess with. For them it couldn't have been easier.
I spoke with 4 different dealers in as many months, and I have to say, none treat prospective customers that well. They all are a bit arrogant. Give me the impression unless your buying a $250,000+ car, they're not really interested.
I belive Aston Martin has systemic problems, that can't be fixed buy just bringing out a few new models over the next few years.
I do love the GT, it's the baby Aston, but I love it.
The rest of the Aston experience is all kind of creepy for lack of a better work.

I purchased 3 new Astons from H.R.Owen (formally Broughtons) in Cheltenham. I found their level of care and service exemplary. Think it is a bit sad that you are being treated so poorly. I would suggest you contact AM at Gaydon and tell them of your experience to date. Yes they struggle for money though more than make up for any inadequacies by making the whole purchase and subsequent ownership so special. In fact I used to say that built into the price of a new Aston Martin there is a sizeable chunk of emotion. Clearly you are not getting this.
I'm really sorry to hear about your experience, and in my albeit limited experience that's not the norm. I've had/got a pretty good relationship with both the dealer and the salesman I deal with here in the UK. Sure it might take a day or so for a response to an email or call, but it always comes.
Personally I wouldn't stand for that level of service on any car, let alone something of this value.
I would request a call back from the dealer principle and make it clear to the receptionist that you're wanting to make a complaint. If that doesn't get any traction then make a complaint to the brand here in the UK. I had to do the same thing with Audi a few years ago, a formal complaint to brand itself soon sorted the issue.
I appreciate dealers can be busy (sort of), but no AM dealer in the world is selling cars that fast that they can't take the time to talk to an existing customer.

This (and so far AM dealers have been pretty good with me, one blip recently). There is another dealer marque I pop into every now and then, I have yet to buy a car from them but on each visit I am made to feel like their best customer, never too busy for me, always show me the latest stuff, nice coffee etc. In reality it costs them nothing and the main thing is I will buy a car from them one day I am sure.Seems like the OP is in the USA where I thought they were famed for customer service
OP, first congratulations on your new car - good to see your forum name matches it! What colour did you go for by the way?
Secondly, like other people here, in the UK anyway, I've had exemplary service from the three different Aston dealers here. They all have the same décor inside and even the same coffee and biscuits (!) and all of the people I've spoken to from receptionist to sales people to technicians have been very friendly and congratulatory on the car.
Which leads me to believe that the US Aston network seems to be in a different league, as the person above said, it is strange in America of all places, where I've always had amazing customer service, that this is the very place that Aston has let themselves down. Have you considered e-mailing customer services? Get someone higher up to sort the American dealers into shape!

Not going to make any complaints, really did get an incredible deal on the car. Dealers just seem kind of apathetic, maybe these cars aren't really selling that well, so I kind of understand the sales guys probably aren't making that much money. Lot of competition out there that's faster and more advanced. Only people buying Astons want the car regardless.
