Hey!

Having sold my Nikon bodies last week to start to make way for some new-fangled digi-hyper-pixelated-funky-technology to stick behind the pretty little Nikkors in my bag, I went and dug out some other boxes from storage today.

I've just found I have a (still working) Canon AV-1 from the '70s along with a very nice Vivitar Series 1 70-210, a Canon 55 f1.8 and a Tamron 300 f5.6. I thought I'd sold all my Canon gear in the 90s (I had at least three bodies and a few bits of glass) to fund the Nikon purchases.

Might load up some film and go all nostalgic! The kit's not worth tuppence ha'penny on the 2nd market I suppose.....

A cracking lens, and f3.5 all the way! I keep mine as s souvenir because as you say it's worth peanuts now. It goes back to when 'Series 1' actually meant it was good; however Vivitar then lost the plot, devalued the title by badge marketing and Sigma took over.

Er, no. Not worth a thing. I mean for a start it's Canon isn't it. So obviously worthless as any Nikon person would expect.

If you want the stuff taken away I could arrange for that for a small fee ...

I can sit on the fence now though!

I'm no longer thinking I am an ex-Canon user, now I've found my secret stash!

Actually, it just means I can pontificate on like some old duffer about how good Canon used to be...

Just seen a secondhand D100 up for under £600 though so my discovery might not keep me interested for too much longer!
