I couldn't work on someone else's Tvr today so I decided to work on my own instead, 
Some light arrived in the post Friday morning only hours before I had to attend a funeral, I wasn't expecting the parcel before today and was gutted I hoped it would arrive last Thursday,,so I'm there ironing a shirt,,
Knock at the door, YEEE HAAA, like a gift from God,, hahah, I thanked my son then left it alone until today,,
Long story short, bits from Verboorten Technic arrived
A steering wheel centre section,
Oil filler cap
Mesh for windscreen bass, stainless,, The mesh is upside down in this pic !!! Holes don't line up.
Stickers but there still to be applied,, ha.
Not sure about the steering wheel bit but I might just get used to it,,
Might get my wheel re covered one day so can use the little strips of leather to smooth the look of it.
Bit of modding to get oil cap to fit but I like the crossed up position of it,, haha,
It really is therapy from life is owning a great British sportscar that you can go your own way with,,
Need to sort that rusty bracket for gordsake,,,;).

Weird Ole, I can see em trust me they look good, haha,
I'm going to re position the water hoses to suit the new mesh, reverts to the earlier cars position,, hmmmm !
Alan, I quite like the screw heads showing,, give em a shine every now and then,,, hahah, I really am joking now!!
The steering wheel centre piece, if I was being critical I'd say it needs the edge taking off all round, soften it a bit,
As its stainless if I wanted to round the edges how would I go about doing that and still get a polished finish to said edge?
I could file it but what will get it smooth and polished again!
You can also see where it's pinching at the top two screw heads,, need some shims to take up the slack,, I ain't sure to be honest, the kid in me says go with it,, something else says a step to far,,
It looks darn good from a few yards away I'll say that.

Funny that Phil, I'd always considered powder coat or just paint it but after looking at the pic earlier I had that very same thought, just remove it,, I'm not aiming of having an engine out in a hurry so keep it safe and use when needed. Since the distributors been done away with I could do with giving it all a good gunking in that area anyway so drop the PS pump out the way and plenty of space to clean, haha, yep I'd decided that earlier mate

Yep it looks like there are 2 mesh types on their web site. If its a real pain to drill new holes in the panel, it may be easier to re order and I would be interested in the one you already have. trust me they look good, haha, I'm going to re position the water hoses to suit the new mesh, reverts to the earlier cars position,, hmmmm !
