996 GT3 RS or Ferrari 458
Discussion
Hi Guys I really love the 458 but have a 996 GT3 RS.
Can't justify getting both at the same time so if you had the choice of one which one would you have.
I've had the 996 GT3 RS for years but feel like it's time for a change and the 458 ticks all the boxes.
I mainly do one euro trip and the odd track day a year.
I'll miss all the Porsche banter as I've always thought that the Rarri lot are more into the brand than the cars if you know what I mean. (hopefully I'm wrong)
Am I making the right decision?
Thanks in advance.

I've just acquired my first 'rari but not at the expense of letting go of my RS. Back in '08 i sold my first 996 RS for something shiny and new and i was never happy until i got back into another 996 RS. They are such special cars. Find a way of keeping it, please.
And you are right about car vs brand. I am now part of the Ferrari 'family', apparently!

Phillip I have told you a 1000 million times to keep the RS! if you sell it I will personally shoot you ;-)
why don't you hire a 458 for the weekend? they are nothing special tbh.
the only thing to compare the RS to is the Speziale. but then they are mega $$.
you only use the RS from time to time so it would be the same with the fezza but not as special.

Its a question of Analogue vs digital IMO and where you sit along that digital divide is up to you.
Personally I would keep the 996RS but I can entirely understand your desire for a 458.
As a side note, in the Ferrari I guess you will draw a LOT more attention and not all of it positive!
