Folks a question for the accountants amongst us

If I were to buy a car from a dealership who are listed on the London stock exchange but incorporated in Bermuda, does this mean their corporation tax gets paid to Bermuda and not to our wonderful tax authorities ?

No. Where they pay tax broadly depends on where their activities are, or more specifically, management and control.

That won't be Bermuda for a car dealership based in the UK.

If you're that bothered, find out the company you are buying the car from and do a search at Companies House for accounts and see what CT is paid.
