Alternative to John Smedley jumpers
Discussion
Anyone else wear Smedley jumpers?
I have a few, mostly given to me as presents, but I find they are very fragile. I spend half my life sending them back to the factory.
Does anyone know of a good alternative? I don't like visible logos, I like slim fit crew necks and they need to be soft (I get itchy otherwise).
Any suggestions please?

Should last a long time if washed with care?
I am wearing one now that I've had 4 years, it's been washed and worn endlessly. Still good. I have several others that have been replaced because after a couple of wears the shoulder or neck seams have opened up. Smedley have always replaced them - eventually - but it's still a PITA.
I've got about half a dozen in the wardrobe, a couple are a fair few years old and still look very good even though they've been worn a lot, the others aren't six months old and one of them looks very worn. I've had probably 40 or so Smedley jumpers over the past 10+ years and some have been great and lasted years, others haven't seen 12 months before they're shot. I don't live too far from the factory and luckily I get a big discount in the shop there so I don't mind if they're no good after a year when I've paid £25 for one.
