hi all. Last year i participated in a Dorset Dawdle and had a scream. At the time I was in a Astra sri which was mildly entertaining. This year I own an elise and would love to do the same roads especially ZIG ZAG HILL and surrounding roads bug I can`t remember how to get there. I found the general area and the Horton arms Pub that we all stopped at but WHERE IS ZIG ZAG HILL?????
SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME!
THANKS IN ADVANCE
STUART

Zig Zag is in Melbury on the way out of Shaftesbury in Dorset. Leave Shaftesbury on the Higher Blandford Rd (not the A350) and follow the signs to Bournemouth - it`s a couple of miles outside Shaftesbury. You take the first left after Melbury Motors (alfa specialist).

Zig Zag Hill is here, pan North-West to see Shaftesbury. Carry on up the B-road, slot right just before Woodley Down, through the narrow bit (careful on the second narrow bit, its blind!), T-right, straight over the staggered crossroads over the A354, follow your nose over the hill and you'll come to the Horton Inn.

Then go down to the Purbeks. Pleasure (but only at night)

heh, our family holidays used to take this road in when I was a lad. Driving up and down it in an old Transit with a raised roof and bench seats and cooker etc was a bit of an experience when you were sat in the back!
