window sticker and protective film removal
Discussion
Hi All
Just brought an old fiesta to play around with, trying to bring it back to pristine condition just as a little project.
its got a few stickers on the windscreen and rear window that are pretty well stuck on, what the best way to remove these? any tricks?
Also, while I'm here, on the side panels there is a protective film that comes about half way up the door and covers both sides, giving it a slight colour contrast, it has peeled away in some areas and I think it might look better if I completely remove them as I don't think its something that can be repaired. again, are there any tricks or is there any best way to do this?
Thanks

Hot air gun usually works & that's how I remove stuff from cars, vans & caravans. Don't go mad as if you overdo it it will also do the paint!
Customer of mine uses boiling water to aid in removing signage from vans - but I wouldn't suggest tipping boiling water on the glass
