Game for my son
Discussion
Try Race the Sun. It's an indie racing game where you pilot a solar powered craft against the setting sun before you run out of power. It's literally only two or maybe three controls, it's very quick but it's simple to pick up, and actually quite exciting. It also has a wonderful minimalist design.

The star wars one is good too, disney infinity is a bit of a con, though. They don't seem to finish one game before they release another and no cross compatibility, Skylanders is good for that, but the characters are fairly expensive...only ever buy them in sales
I play that Star Wars one a bit last week.. maybe I'm getting on but felt it was MILES to hard for a 5 yr old . Fair enough he'd enjoy running around bumping into things.. but for example the AT -AT challenge - no way.EdT said:

I meant the Star Wars set for disney infinity 3 and I haven't played it much tbh, the AT-At challenge in that with the snow speeders is great fun and it tells you which way to steer, is that what you meant?born2bslow said:

That's the one. Cant see my nearly 4 + half yr old handling that thoughseconded on star wars infinity, my daughter really struggled with it.
However after she played the inside out game mentioned above, she also got the hang of star wars, we are currently playing guardians of the galaxy.
Have also heard the Aladdin toy set is also just as easy as inside out. You need to check though whioch one is infinity 2 or 3 as you need different software for each one.

Depends on the kid too, my son was all over PS3 and the Wii from the age of 2, playing all kinds of stuff (Wii controllers are so intuitive for youngsters) The missus had to help him with the puzzles and stuff in the Lego games but he loved them. My daughter on the other hand couldn't get to grips with them and had no real interest. She is 8 now and loves minecraft, but doesn't really play much else, still not as bothered with thrm as my son is.
