We will be losing it due to this crazy Late delivery rate. We will be "Above Standard"

I've already lost it, then when I read the report on eBay it said "next time you're assessed you'll be a top rated seller".

It's stupid.

We're okay thankfully... our defect rate is down to 0.18%, and the late delivery rate is at 0.00%.

But we only list what we physically have in stock, and only ship on next day courier services.

Since they last changed it (last year ?) i lost top seller status so really glad to get it back. New defect scoring is defo a big plus, have noticed also sellers increasing the estimated delivery dates so not to fall foul of the new late delivery defect.

Do customers pay any attention to it nowadays though?

The delivery metric has changed I think on Wednesday to be less draconian - info on Tamebay

I buy bits and pieces pretty regularly on eBay and I'm not aware of this.

"So close. To qualify for eBay Top-rated Seller status, you must have a business account."

don't want that account as I am not a business, although the reduced fees would be nice.

Just checked most of my competitors and all but 1 have lost their TRS.
I just checked my late delivery rate and its sitting at 4.19. Hopefully will be back next month with some luck not that I care anymore. Rest of my stats are excellent if I say no myself. No issues at all and defect rate is 0.04%

From what I can tell it makes no difference. Non TRS seem to still be at top of search results anyway.

Crazy Crazy stat anyway considering at best RM delivery next day 93% of the time and eBay force you to try and get 96%.
Don't know what idiot comes up with this idea but what this means is either sellers put prices up to send next day courier (which is still not guaranteed) or to fudge your despatch time which is still bad for ebay because a new buyer comes and see oh these guys are not sending today or maybe tomorrow. Screw it I will go on Amazon.
