Hi,

Not sure how many players are here but I'm woeful at SFV. Was hoping to find some other deeply crap players to play against / train with.

Used to play SF2 way back in the day but was getting served by the computer at lvl 6 to the point I was thinking "WTF?".

Not sure if there was a thread already.

Fight!

Am thinking of getting this soon, what platform are you on? I'm going to be getting it on the ps4. Your best bet is to practice on your own initially. Go into the training modes and setup a computer player who stands there dumbly. Bring up the list of special moves\combo's for the characters and then practice them without fear of getting pummelled. This will start to ingrain the muscle memory for the moves you'll need to get good at the game when you are playing real people. Concentrate on one or two characters and a limited subset of moves as you WILL forget them in the heat of battle.

Oh and good luck, I've played most of the SF games since two on and off and can hold my own against average to good players but once I start moving up the ladder, I get absolutely pummelled. It's not such a massive phenomena in the UK but there are people out in the wider world who live and breath SF and are scarily good.

Cheers,

I have been trying training sessions with a single character and wish there was a greater difference between some of the levels. So lvl 5 "dummy" 90% percent of the time I win, push on to lvl 6 it's like 5%!

Will stick with the practice, sigh
