I am desperate to just get news about the next borderlands game. I was wondering what games the PH lot were eagerly anticipating.

I had gathered from Steam that you were quite a Borderlands fan! (no stalker) hehe

Personally I can't wait for the new Deus Ex game and also the new Doom- watched some extensive gameplay footage of Doom and it just looks insane. I played Doom 3 again recently so it's got me even more hyped up for it.

I'm also interested for news on what the next Battlefield (2016) title will be- mainly to see if they will go back and do another WW2 one...

I've been going a bit retro lately though- catching up with a mate for some UT2004 'Instagib' action later on biggrin

The Lucasarts game? +1

All the Lucasarts games could do with rebooting to be honest, they were awesome.

And this. Then when it's finally out we'll be looking forward to the next Fallout game and the never-ending cycle continues... rotate

So very much this. First one was great, best game I'd played since Portal. The new one is set for release the day after our second child is due, so I suspect I might not get a look-in for a while.

Also, I wouldn't be upset if another Portal game was released, just sayin'...

The next Red Orchestra/Rising Storm (is it 2 or 3?). God knows when it will arrive but if they can keep similar gameplay and tactics but update graphically, and give us some huge maps it will be immense!

Half-Life 3

I have a feeling this is turning into the Duke Nukem of our age.

a decent FPS, like call of duty modern warfare or one of the oldies remade. Maybe doom but don't know about reviews.

yikes

I think I've got around 100 on 1 & 2 but not played the Pre-Sequel yet.

I do enjoy the Borderlands games but they always end up becoming a bit repetitive after a while so I've never even got close to finishing either of them. They do provide a welcome distraction though when you just want to dive in and kill a bunch of stuff which a ton of different weapons.

My biggest gripe with them is not being able to save 'mid-mission'- it saves any stuff you find / experience etc, but you have to start that mission from the beginning if you need to quit out for any reason before completing. Not knowing how long they are going to take beforehand makes this a bit frustrating- I remember being up til nearly 2am one night doing a particular mission in Borderlands 2 because the further into it I got the more I realised there was no way I was starting it all over from the start again!

A new World War 2 or Cold War FPS.

I am sick of the modern/future warfare based games.

+1. If they could do a reboot of the early COD's/Battlefield's but for the PS4/Xbone I'd buy it.
