As I've recently started my indoor training, I feel the need to start measuring my Cadence, Heart Rate and speed/distance (although not as important).

I currently have a Garmin Edge 200 so without forking out for a new GPS I am looking for something that will link to my iPhone reliably and not cost a fortune - any recommendations?

Wahoo Ant+ adaptor? Then you have your choice of Ant+ sensors. Garmin also make one but it doesn't work with something important (can't remember what but it might be Zwift.) If you have a modern iPhone, you also need a GENUINE APPLE 30 pin to lightning adaptor - I'm afraid the cheap generic ones won't work.

Wahoo TickR and Blue SC.

Both will work with Bluetooth or ANT+. The missus has both for the turbo and work fine on both her iPhone and Edge

They look similar to the Runability unit but that doesn't mention ANT+

Essentially I'm looking at the best part of £100 all in - I have just spotted this http://www.halfords.com/technology/wearable-techno... - with BC discount and voucher discounts I could get it for £162 which seems a good price, not sure what the Edge 200 would be worth 2nd hand now, maybe £40-50 so I wouldn't be spending alot more for an upgraded unit...

Do you use the same bike for outdoors & indoors ?

I use this one & can easily be put from bike to bike in a matter of seconds, the one you are looking at looks like a nuisance to apply.

I use 3 bikes regularly, currently my road bike indoors and 2mtbs - I'm not sure I'd bother putting the cadence sensors etc on the mtbs so would keep it on the road bike...
