As above, later in the year I will be moving to Exeter (currently in Winchester) where I will buy my first house. The consequential side effect of this is that I will need a new job!

Whats the normal/best way to go about juggling this situation as my limited knowledge tells me that the Mortgage provider might not be too happy lending to me whilst I am in the probation period of a new job.

All advice appreciated. Thanks.

But likely to price up the added risk?

OP, why the move the Exeter if not for work? following a Doris? Why not rent until you have a good understanding of which areas are secretly ste?

Me and my wife bought our house when I was 2 months into a new job with a 6 month probation period. No issues at all with Nationwide.
