When to declare ticket to insurance

Hello,

Was just wondering if it is necessary to declare a speeding ticket to your insurer at time of incident or if its ok to wait until the renewal date ?

Renewal date.
You can tell them now if you wish, in case you forget at renewal. They can't charge anything extra until next renewal but they can charge you an admin fee to note their records. Hence leave it to renewal.
