Ultima speedo issues / calibration

I think I recall others having the same issue: My speedo was showing the right speed, but the MILES were out by around 20%. I have kind of lived with it so far, but found a company who can recalibrate them so BOTH are 100% spot on. It seems there is an issue with the ROM in the speedo. He can re program it (for not a lot!) Name of the guy is John Gare, 01702 711127. Others may want to get in touch.

What make of speedo are you talking about though Paul??

This is the VDO one, it is white with the ULTIMA logo on, supplied by Ultima. It is about 4 years old. It has an LCD display for miles and trip, and a small black button for reset and setup. I think it is "standard issue" from Ultima.
