Wheel Postage 26"MTB

I need to send some wheels by post/courier 26" with no tyres etc.

What's the best method? I'd normally use myhermes for bigger stuff but think the parcel will be too big for their service..

If the wheels are in a wheel box, they should be within the size limits for myhermes as I'm sure 29er wheels will just go.

I always used to use City Link and they were great. Not had to post anything like that since they went under though.

You may have to send in 2 separate packages to get inside the size limits. Most of the courier limits are just on the limit for bike wheels or rims, which is frustrating. Collect plus have a sizing which (by my calculation) excludes 700c rims, but Chain Reaction Cycles use Collect plus if you need to return rims, and they allow it? Difficult if (for example) you want to sell a rim to someone to use Collect plus though because their stated size is under, with a huge surcharge if you go over size, so it's a bit of a mystery and worrying to take the risk.

I've got them packaged up and they are exceeding all measurements, even packaging them tightly and seperate seems to exceed also - have been reading Parcelforces guidelines and there limit is 3m girth as opposed to 2.25 generally by others - looks like it's £11.99 for express48 so will give that a go...
