Today I lifted the lid and found a huge toad looking up at me. I didn't have chance to photograph it before it swam off (I am sure I heard it laughing as it went) but it was a bit like this:

So, have you ever found anything surprising in your toilet (that you didn't deposit there yourself)?

Did the toad pee in there, or do you save water wink

A turd that didn't disappear with the previous flush.

Edit. Damn. Didn't fully read the description.

Is this post the victim of autocorrect?

On holiday in Sri Lanka we had a little guy we called the bog frog. Used to piss on him and flush away on an evening then in the morning he'd be back.

Why do people in-cistern making these sort of puns?

When I lived in a rented house, I flushed a rubber down the loo (I know I shouldn't have done, but I was a rebellious 17 year old).

I was quite surprised when I returned for a piss about half an hour later and saw that the clogged filter had returned everything and I was staring at manky old tampons and old condoms from previous habitants.

I didn't shower in that bathroom again while I lived there.

I know I shouldn't, but I find this amusing.

A work colleague was on toilet unblocking duty at the pub. He was wearing a decarboniser glove (old set from the kitchen) trying to poke whatever was blocking the toilet out.

The culprits eventually came loose, the water level increased and several tampons dropped into his glove laugh

This can probably go on the stty gifts thread but I bought him a framed tampon for his birthday hehe

Have you got any photos of your Dutch Oven?

On second thoughts – don't share them.

Friend was once using the downstairs toilet when he ran out shouting "There's a fking rat in your toilet!", it was gone but the time I went to look but I believe him. Sneaky buggers. Had a thing about making sure the toilet seats were kept down for a long time!
