I was really disapointed Sword Coast Legends turned out to be crap as I adore the Forgotten Realms setting, mostly through reading (or rather listening to) tons of the novels, though believe it or not I've never played any of the original Infinity Engine games or pen and paper RPGs at all.

I bought them all other than Planescape on GoG , so I need to get to those and Pillars after I've finished Divinity Original Sin, which I've been doing far too slowly. Another very good game worth trying if you've not heard of it, again in the same vein of the classic crpgs.

I traded in Divinity: Original Sin today. Despite it getting loads of accolades I thought it was pretty lame. As it happens I've just started Shadows of Amn again on my laptop.

If you like proper RPG's don't forget to check out Wasteland 2, it's brilliant. Like what Fallout 4 should have been, rather than the utter dreck it was.

I kinda got bored of the complexity of messenger quests in divinity. Will go back one day.

Have all the baldurs gate ones with a pack from Gog. Probably still have the original cd's around too somewhere lol easier to buy and download em.

I never did finish Baldur's Gate 1.
When i was playing it some years back i got impatient and pushed forth into the final section with an under-levelled party, then got myself stuck unable to advance or go back due to being overpowered. I don't have the spare time that i used to and so restarting is not an attractive option.
Also, i have this stupid mental limitation that i have to finish BG1 before i can play BG2, Icewind Dale 1+2 and Planescape Torment.

lol ! yeah I have that too... It's weird ! Currently stuck on Baldurs Gate 1.... How the hell do I stop the Flaming Fist attacking me ??? I must have done it years ago but cant remember ...

Started Div:OS: hmmm... Fantasy XCom... It's ok.

Started Pillars of Eternity: HOLY st! this is exactly what BG2 was and SO MUCH MORE!!!

Loving it... if I can just stop playing FF9 on my phone I might even finish it!

I'm a nats away from finishing Baldurs Gate on iPad... Then BG2 and IWD before Pillars ! Also picked up Div:OS last night for £15 .... Probably 2 years before I get to play it !
