Replacement fuse board
Discussion
As any long-term owner of an older 911 knows, the fuse panel for the car is a weak point – it’s not so much that fuses blow but that they occasionally need a jiggle to get things working properly.
Classicretrofit (www.classicretrofit.com) have made a revised fuse panel for the car that is plug and play and fully reversible (should one want to revert to be wholly original once more). It has the added advantages of having LED diagnostics for blown fuses and having integrated headlamp relays (so current no longer flows though the column stalk.
I ordered one (but haven’t fitted it yet) and it arrived last week. It's a thing of beauty and it seems a shame to hide it under a cover, under a carpet in the boot. It also means replacing one of the few parts of the car that causes me irritation (there's an inevitable fuse juggle a few times a year which are always an irritation).
I have no affiliation but think it's a great product so thought I would share it.
