Temprature guage not working

I have had new distributer leads fitted by a local garage, now my temperature gauge is not working, I took it back and they could see a spade connector not connected, but cannot find where it fits. Can someone help please, does anyone have a picture of where it goes, thanks for your help.

The TVR temperature gauge sender is pictured here. Very hard to get to, it's behind the distributor

While you're at it why not improve things. Search PH for Rover Temperature Mod. There's a more accurate way to read the temperature

Point of precision ... it'll only be accurate at *ONE* specific temperature as the resistor mod doesn't match the sensor resistance slope to match the requirement of the gauge however it will be more responsive to actual changes in temperature.

....and as I keep saying, nothing can accurately measure the coolant temperature because the coolant will vary in temperature depending where you read it, hotter on the cylinder walls, cooler in the radiator outlet hose. It doesn't matter what the gauge reads, it only matters that the gauge informs thd driver that the engine is warming up, stable or overheating. Accurate temperature reading doesn't give the driver more relevant information because it only measures temperature at one random point in a system with various temperatures
