My college class (BTEC Motorsport) is organising an Autosolo for our last term. Full permission and cooperation from the college, but we have to do it all ourselves. Class members have done Autosolo, but no one has organised one.

We know about MSA licences, can quote the regulations nearly by heart, there is a (also new!) college motor club with MSA recognition, and we have made contacts for insurance, cones etc But what tips can anyone offer? Dos, don'ts, have you thought ofs?

Thanks!
John

Not much really, just make sure you have your regs sorted and you are applying for the correct permit. Should be straightforward enough.

Do you have a location organized? Have you thought about a course layout? Somewhere I have our car club's list of things to do to organize a sprint, which may be useful.
