24th February 2006. 10 years ago today I took a Virgin to Rugby and picked up my V8S. My first PH post was, I think, later that day in which I raved about the effect it had on me on the journey home. Much has changed in the last 10 years, but the V8S is pretty much the same (give or take several £000, well, give anyway), and I still love it as much as the day I drove it home.

Who has had theirs longer? A few of you I think.

And I bet the V8S is in better nick than the virgin of 2006 is.

My car just celebrated 24 years on this planet, 15 of them with me.

I'll have had my V8S for 15 years this September, although sadly it's spent the last few years tucked up in the garage sorned. I was hopeful that things would pick up, but having been made redundant last September I may be reluctantly forced to sell! It would be a very sad end to 18 great years of TVR ownership!

Sorry to hear that. Hang on in there. In the 12 months following my divorce I did 3 miles; to and from the MOT station laugh If you sell it, you may never be able to get another.

If you take a Virgin to Rugby Joe, you must expect this "knock-on" effect! wink

( I won't even think about mentioning anything about references to do with odd-shaped balls.) nono

Happy 10th Anniversary from Austin & Percy. party
