I have stopped using this stuff, no matter how convenient it is, it makes my hands sore. My fingertips crack and won't heal until I have stopped using the stuff in pump-action dispenser for some time. Two other people I know, maybe three, have the same problem. Has anyone on here had the same effect?

What type do you use?

I use various ones at work regularly. Does make them sinsitive if I don't moisturise regularly

I use a mixture of cellulose thinners, Swarfega and soap powder, and my three hands are OK

Agreed on all points. Diesel is also exceptionally good at cleaning your hands.

Much more convenient as well.

I use the Radox herbal one, I have extremely sensitive skin, but my hands are ok, I do refrain from doing the washing up though as Fairy and all other fine brands, leave my hands like a scouring sponge.

Would have thought that'd be an advantage for washing up!

Damn right. What is all this noncy "mens' cosmetics" nonsense? I was reading some airline magazine article last week about some puffs who run a place in London where the male of the species can go in like Desperate Dan and come out like Julian Clary.

FFS.... what's wrong with a bit of masculine smell, grubby nails, tough hands and facial lines that speak of a life lived?
Surely most women prefer the rugged looks of Connery, Clooney et al to some soft-skinned, namby-pamby arty-farty lahdy-dahdy woolly-woofter image, like Boy George meets Cliff Richard...?

Yes, you have hit the nail on the head with that one... My other half gets really annoyed when I use her washing liquid and brillo pad to clean me up after working on the car.

Thats it!

Agreed with the "real men don`t moisturise" stuff, but oil (especially used) and grease on your hands is seriously bad for you.
