My 997 Gen 2 C2S - my fourth Porsche will be gone this week - taking her back to Dovehouse to sell. Only had this lovely 911 for a year. Have really enjoyed this one, they are great cars. If anyone is thinking of getting one - DO! I have a Boxster Spyder landing in May & the 997 has to go. Even now - I keep thinking that I hope I'am doing the right thing. The 997 was going to be a keeper but was tempted into the Spyder.

Boxster Spyder is a handsome beast, but I do think a Gen 2 C2S 997 is a car that looks really 'right' and will age exceptionally well.

You are right - the 997 Gen 2 C2S does look 'right'. It really is a great car & now at sub £40K its a lot of car for the money. Hope I've made the right decision on the Spyder. Think I have. It's a different beast & a 911 engine (minus a few horses) in a mid-engine package & factor in low volumes - it has classic written all over it. The 997 is off to Dovehouse this week to find a new home.

I think the latest incarnation of the Boxster is the first that's really done it for me visually- granted the dynamics were never in question. The Spyder does look very nice - better again.
